Executive Director & Founder’s Message
With a population of 1.2 billion, India requires a robust bioengineering infrastructure to meet its healthcare demands. To address this, our society necessitates a substantial number of bioengineers. The establishment of the School of Bioengineering at MITADT University aims to begin addressing these needs by educating the youth in this integrated, multi-disciplinary field. This initiative will primarily focus on foundational research to transition India’s biomedical and biotechnology industry from customer-centric to research-centric, fostering commercially viable products.
The specific objectives include preparing students for careers or further studies in bioengineering, ensuring industry readiness through tailored courses, fostering a hands-on approach through Project-Based Learning, and promoting entrepreneurship in bioengineering. We extend a warm welcome to you at the MIT School of Bioengineering Sciences & Research.

Head of School Message
Bioengineering is a multidisciplinary field bridging the gap between biology and engineering sciences and is fast becoming a globally expanding discipline. An effective education enables students to match their steps with the changing technology. Considering this background, we offer graduation and post-graduation courses, such as B.Tech. Bioengineering, an integrated M.Tech., M.Tech. in environmental bioengineering, M.Sc. in industrial biotechnology, and Ph.D. program in the School of Bioengineering Sciences and Research, Loni Campus. We collaborate with several premier research institutes, hospitals, clinics, and laboratories across India and abroad.
